What am I missing ? The officer was responding to a call in 2006 ,was involved in an accident ,no charges at all. Now in 2009 he gets a DUI and there's a civil case from 2006. Sounds strange to me. I feel awful for Mr Sargent and his family but what does one have to do with the other. The affects of being in a fatal accident could have contributed to the state of mind of the officer, leading to over drinking. It happens all the time.
