“Now we need to turn our focus to getting Clearfield County residents hired, full-time with family-sustaining jobs.”
I doubt many Clearfield residents will see any gain from this plant. Most of the jobs will go to people with experience or technical knowledge that are not from this area. Bionol will throw a bone or 2 at Clearfield with a few gate guard and clerical jobs, but the good paying jobs will be out of reach to the average resident.

And hope they forget about the construction jobs they didn't get.

That would be because most people on the forum here spend their waking hours condemning the Democrats in Government (local and state) and do not have the initiative to get off their arses and get trained in the operation of an Ethanol facility.

Do you think you can just walk in from say a cola stripping position and do the job?

Some things never change

So why do we vote the same politicians into office that allow this to happen. I for one will no longer vote for any of our current politicians, in fact after one term no matter how good I will vote for someone else.

So where is this ethanol plant training facility?
Tell us, wise one, where the sheeple should go to get this training that you seem to have great knowledge of?
Yup, some things never change, like people talking out of their ass.

Shame on all of you pee-ons for questioning the socialistic hiring process of this Ethanol Plant. OIC is going to report all of your names to the great Camille Bud George and have them personally strangle you.

Shame on you for calling this process what it is, instead of what it has been called by the great Bud George. After all, Bud George's office is the one that released the announcement on the hiring procedures, and you all are to follow.

You will all get 50 lashes at the hands of OIC.

I have no idea where it is. From what I heard a###ole, the CCCTC was offering a get your feet wet course and if you are not capable of researching and obtaining the proper information and training for a job in a specific industry, then you either are
a- too stupid

or

b- you never wanted a job in the first place.

You see, Clearfield people are in a criticize mentality and expect things to be handed to them.

Where were you tow years ago when this thing started?

What was this rant all about?

Oh , I know. Another chance to say something really assinine about Bud George.

You may want to direct your bytching at the Commissioners (2 of which are Republicans).

Socialistic?

Sounds to me like it was a "capitalistic " hiring process. A socialistic process would have taken care of the little guy first. Oh, that is right, socialism is the new Glenn Beck "word of the week"

Of course these jobs won't go to Clearfield citizens. If I lived in Clearfield, i sure as heck wouldn't want Billy Bob with a GED operating computer systems that control explosive materials that could blow my neighborhood into Curwensville.

They are going to get highly specialized college educated engineers of which there are few in Clearfield. Sorry folks but I don't see what democrats or politicians have to do with this. It is a private company and they can hire who they want, and if it was your company you would want to hire people who know what they are doing as well.

I know for a fact about the underage drinking, I also know of other officers cutting each other breaks, I also know of other shady business involving the DA. Maybe he didn't do everything he is accused of but a guy who hangs at a bar and gets drunk to the degree that he did is no one that should be in a position of judgment.
As for having the stones, I vote and should I be called to witness I would How would you like to proceed with the charges that would stem back 10 years ago? I do not slander nor call derogatory names, we have politicians for that. Slowly things are changing here, people are educating themselves and realizing we do not have to be visious with each other, we can vote, and help each other and learn to protect our natural resources and become interdependant rather than dependant. Makes no matter the political party both have faults.

It seems like the original poster must have been in Warren when the information regarding the hiring and training process hit the media.

They are hiring local. Go to PA Career Link and see the job listings.

They will be hiring in October, then sending employees to a training facility and then work will begin in January.

Plus, there has been a certificate class at the votech all year.

Yep, go to PA Career Link, a staterun agency with state employees, that take their orders from Camille "I'll have your job" George. Ask them. Sure, go to career link. But unless you have given Bud George $$$$, forget about it. Hello socialism.

A capitalistic hiring process doesn't involve a state rep threatening you or controlling your hiring process, let alone make the press release about it.

Why don't you and Dave Wulderk go play with each other (assuming you're male).

Actually, maybe hiring these Bytchers could be a bonus to all clear thinking folks. We could evacuate a five square mile zone and let these "wannabe" experts have a go at it.

Sit on Rockton mt for the best view of the explosion when these idiots demonstrate their "expertise"

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Gemini

You are in a dissatisfied mood, and are just spoiling for a fight today. However, be warned that this could backfire on you unpleasantly, especially if you take on superiors at work. At home, everyone is used to your behaviour and they generally make allowances for you, as they will today.
