Nearly $40K in loans from grocer called theft
The former owner of a grocery store here, who was arraigned in Miami County Municipal Court for making loans to employees for nearly $40,000 over a six- to-seven-year period without the new owner's permission, said he expects charges of theft to be dropped next week and the money repaid.
