Columbus, OH., February 1, 2012 - American Electric Power has begun commercial operation of the Dresden natural gas-fired power plant, a nominal 580-megawatt combined-cycle generating unit.

The company announced today commercial operations have begun at the 580-megawatt generating unit on McGlade School Road.

The individual homes will feature three or four bedrooms and two-car garages on 60-foot lots, averaging between 1,300 and 1,500 square feet of living space.
