Sounds great! After they buy bicycles to ride around in the woods will there be some money left over to get all the high school kids off LSD, crack, weed..etc..etc?

Bike patrols are great. They patrol in my neighborhood and I've seen them arrive before cruisers sometimes when responding to calls near me. One time the bike guy showed up before the 4 cruisers.

They get into places cars can't go like alleys, parks, all the walking paths and footbridges, tunnels, etc. They can go into all the hidey holes and shadows that the crims and drug using teens like to hide, really ruining their "good time".

Bike patrols are an EXCELLENT idea in any urban environment
