Church group delivers 2,000th cord of wood
The Do-Wooders do a lot of good along the Highway 4 corridor. On Wednesday, they toasted a milestone , having delivered the 2,000th cord of wood to low-income recipients in their 19-year-old effort to lend a helping hand.
Three adults escaped uninjured from a residence that burned in Dorrington early this morning.
Downed Power Lines In Calaveras County
Portions of Calaveras County have been hampered by downed power lines this morning.
Recreation meeting scheduled in Avery
The stretch of Highway 4 heading east from Forest Meadows may seem like recreation paradise considering amenities ranging from White Pines Park and U.S. Forest Service lands to Calaveras Big Trees State Park.
