In the few recent months, The Children’s Village has gotten several bad media reports: history of operating illegal childcare facilities; over 14 OSHA violations; staff allegedly raping a 15 client; staff beating another client; and more (check www.employeejusticereport.com ; Westchester Journal, Westchester News 12, New York Nonprofit Press for proof. These types of reports expose Children’s Village unfair labor practices and they affect Children’s Village’s image and impact their ability to generate revenues. In response, The Children’s Village is flooding the media with superficial news reports to paint over the negative reports. In regard to the Iraq trip, if CV cannot deal with its own problems, how will it deal with the problems of Iraq’s children?

Jane is so right. What Children's Village is doing is clear. More and more staff should report them at www.employeejusticereport.com
