PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. - All area schools in the Fort Leonard Wood area closed Monday morning, but Fort Leonard Wood is maintaining regular operations though a liberal leave policy is in effect for those who can't make it to work at their scheduled reporting times.

DIXON, Mo. - A single-vehicle crash near the Pulaski-Maries county line injured two Dixon residents Wednesday morning, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Heitman announced Sunday that his deputies investigated a property damage crash on Highway 28 near Dixon in which a vehicle lost control and crashed into a tree near a residence, then drove through the yard, struck numerous objects, and caused damage to property and trees, leaving pieces of the car at the scene.
