Here is the question, do all these elders in the area who support such a toxic project want their children and grandchildren to have a safe and clean enviroment in which to harvest off the land for years to come, Or do they just want a handful of jobs for a few lucky ones for the life of the mine, Maybe 10- 15 years and run the risk of destroying the enviroment there for future generations of families to have the land to provide fish and wildlife for all, Is it just a form of greed by the pebble company to go in and distroy land like every other project that is simuliar, I ask all elders and very wise people from around the project, What do you want for your children and grandchildren to remember how we grew up loving the land we live on. Once it is destroyed it will not come back in our lifetime, so be wise and think clearly.

You can teach a person to fish and hunt so he can provide for a lifetime, you can give a person money from a job in which he can buy food, but when that job has ended and the toxic land has destroyed the hunting and fishing that once provided for families, What do you have to show your children and grandchildren, No money left, no fish left, no game left, how can people of the land live off that.what do you have to say to the next generation who follows you. Nothing !! just like the pebble project promises, an accident is an accident which will destroy the land forever. Look at what mines in the lower 48 states have brought them, Nothing!! just like they will bring alaskans.
