The following is a fish tale with twists and turns worthy of a real whopperand the ending has yet to be written.

Diamond City officials and some residents gathered Friday for a ribbon cutting at Blue Water Liquors, the first liquor store to open in Boone County since voters approved alcohol sales in November 2010.

A note for Diamond City, Arkansas residents. The city says a boil order remains in effect tonight and will last through sometime next week.

Six businesses in Boone County, including two restaurants, are the first to get permits to sell alcoholic beverages after the county voted to go wet last November.
