Private investigators inspected Monday the truck in which Vidor teens Kristen Kirkland and Mykala Ross were riding in Saturday when they were killed in an accident.

The father of Kristen Kirkland, 14, has hired Beaumont attorney Cade Bernsen to take action against Elizabeth Watkins, 19, the driver in the accident that killed Kirkland and My'kala Ross, 13, Saturday night.

Two teens are dead and two adults in the hospital following a one-vehicle accident in Newton County Saturday night.

The Newton County Sheriff's Office has shut down the railroad tracks in the Hartburg Community near Deweyville and Highway 87.
