I-10 Crash Victim, 6, Succumbs To Injuries
An Arizona girl, 6, died in a Moreno Valley hospital due to injuries from a single-vehicle crash near Desert Center, a deputy coroner said Sunday. Aimee Sorm, a resident of Tempe, was a passenger of a sport utility vehicle whose driver lost control at about 9:10 p.m. Wednesday. The SUV rolled off westbound Interstate 10 near Hayfield Road, about 50 miles east of Indio, A. Roberts, deputy coroner from the Riverside County Coroner's Office, said.
Sorm was transported to Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley, where she was pronounced dead at 3:37 a.m. Saturday, Roberts said. Read more
