Yelloweye rockfish are one of two rockfish species considered overfished in Oregon's near shore.

The Coast Guard is closing several river bars in Washington and Oregon and to all vessels because of hazardous conditions Sunday.

The wee hours of Wednesday morning, a ways past midnight, may yield some stellar sights in the skies above Portland, Eugene, the valley and the Oregon coast.
