A jewelry store employee told Denton police Friday that a customer switched a piece of glass for a real diamond valued at more than $5,000. A man came into the store in the 2200 block of Interstate 35E about 4 p.m. Friday and the employee showed him a set of 2 carat diamond studs, she told police.
