It was a busy day and night for the Vail and Denison Fire Departments on Wednesday.

A pair from Storm Lake are arrested for selling heroin. Police allege that 49-year-old Frank Moore and 39-year-old Katherine Stevens had been selling heroin in Storm Lake and reportedly completed several illegal drug transactions in the past few days.

If you've ever seen the Christmas classic, "It's a Wonderful Life" then you may be a fan of Iowa film star Donna Reed, she was famous from the 1940's to the 60's. Marshalltown remembered the Denison native this past weekend with a film festival and drama production.
