Man picked up on parole violation a suspect in Edgewater death

Yeah, but they still haven't released the name of the shooter. I have to wonder if he is part of the Peterson gang.

Yeah, but I was glad to see they included the Judge in the story. Someone posted elsewhere that the shooter is already in custody. I think we will be finding out the rest of the story soon enough.

So now that Hank is in jail, what about the shooter? And also, what about the driver of the car? There was speculation on these pages about Crista's mother (Deanna?) having some peripheral relation to this case? How about it? It seems obvious that the shooter's identity is hardly a mystery, except to the public. There is also speculation that the shooter is already in custody on an unrelated charge. Since the news often pops up here before the NJ, I would like to keep these lines open.

Walker, This may end up being a Capitol Case? Think about it. Felony (the drug deal)while committing Murder? The State maybe putting together a strong case and not releasing all the cards in their hand as with the Casey Anthony case. Not charging the shooter or anyone involved yet gives them time to build a better case. At least if its true the key players are in custody.

If you haven't had a chance to check out the Florida Supreme Court website you should. It explains how this process with MJH is going to happen and who the key players will be seeing over her case. This isn't anything that will happen over night. She may be voted out before they decide.

I have heard the shooters name several times,not sure why it's not in the newspaper,Eddie speaks his name that's how I heard it from people that have spoken to Eddie. Eddie is on the street telling anyone who will listen everything that he supposedly told the police,this case is far from over,there is alot of key information that has not been released to the public,unless you speak to Eddie,people that know him seem to know alot.Eddie and Crista are by no means innocent in all of this,the blame game will only last for so long. As for Hank it's kinda weird,if you speak to people who grew up with him know everything about him the one thing they all will say is that he not a liar,they beleive that Eddie set-up the drug deal,people that know him will say that he will use and lie to anyone to get what he wants,he's alot like Hank he just didn't get caught as many times,as for the (friendship) between Hank and MJH,(we'll call them the higher ups)may not have been aware but people that knew Hank have known for a couple of years it was common knowledge,I've read over and over MJH side of the story,but what will Hank say,maybe he will say that they were in love???? Maybe he'll say she was his girl.

Humm.. don't you think Law Enforement is smarter than Hank & Eddie put together? There must be something of credit to what he said why else would they release Eddie? I think the blame game will go on for awhile. Only the shooter will know the truth. If Hank is questioned about his friendship with MJH do you think he'll tell the truth he doesn't lie right? As for Jeremy someone said he may have been sleeping when this happened? If so did they befriend him at the Club on his birthday, see he's getting buzzed offer to drive him home and they will meet up with someone to pick them up when in fact it's the drug deal. Eddie in the back passed out clueless that they just used him for a ride. I don't know something I was just wondering about.

Was told drug dealers don't really mess with Hank because they know him,and that Eddie would have had to set the deal up, Eddie was the first one to roll because of his VOP,he had a dirty UA.Eddie is a real ggod liar,ask his family how he's lied to them to get money.Eddie knows the shooter,Eddie was in the front passenger seat. If I remember the story correctly Eddie met Jeremy early in the day, and Jeremy was drinking whiskey most of the day, not that that's a bad thing,he was celebrating his 25th,maybe Jeremy passed out for a min. or two, Eddie was awake,he remembers everything. Like I said before so much information has not been released to the public, except for what Eddie's saying on the street. Don't know if Hank will tell the truth,just posting what people have said to me about him.Eddie knew Jeremy was wasted and he would be an easy target, Like I said Eddie is not all that different from Hank.

I thought they might have set him up. Poor kid!

Eddie was sentenced on Friday to 3 years of Felony Probation and released. Judge Marriott didn't give him any State time. Judge Marriott is well known for sending people who Violate Probation to State prision.

Eddie did not get state time because he would not last a day in the pen. everyone would know he is a nark and he would be killed. I hope Hank gets life in prison for his roll in the killing of Jeremy. Hank should have received a life sentence long ago, but because of MJH we lost a young life. I certainly hope the bar does something to her.

Does Hank have any friends his age? Well besides you know who. He seems to prey on the young ones.

Missy, To answer your questions about Hank's friends....No. He has no friends period! Most men Hank's age have already grown up. He have never had a real job or a productive life. He has always been the scum of the earth. Why would a Judge even associate herself with such a POS unless she shared some of the same habits?????

Well, maybe Hank can make some friends where he is now. I find it curious that Eddie's case was disposed of so rapidly. Another person posted that "they" (the system) delayed on Hank and presumably the shooter/driver until Eddie was processed out. I doubt the local legal system has that much foresight or compassion, but then you never know. One thing is for certain...Mr. Selph certainly doesn't want to trip again. He is young and should be grateful for this opportunity. I doubt he will get many more.

Not without David Damore as his attorney. Hank was arrested in Seminole for a DUI last year, I wonder if he was driving the car MJH helped him buy?

I just think its a shame that MJH has served as long as she has with this many people understanding her life style out side of court is something that out in open, she would not make it past pre law. And I hope I'm not the only one that contacted the major networks :}~~

Hey Gregory. Thanks for the CNN thing.

All small towns have their secrets and MJH and Hank was just one of ours. As long as he was just a nuisance they were able to keep more or less out of the public eye. If you read the statements from some of her supporters you find total denial. And the real story has still not come out, probably never will, about her true relationship with Hank, the allegations of drugs etc. But if you have ever had the misfortune to appear before her in court you would have seen arrogance personified.

Will CNN et al pick up on this? I doubt it. Jeremy Markley was a "little guy", a laborer and probably just not sympatico enough to warrant the national spotlight. The Judge and Hank will have to live with the outcome of these events, and both are so self-centered and foul that they will always blame others for the results of their own misdeeds.

Meanwhile there is still a murdering crack-dealer and his driver remaining unnamed. Are they already in custody? If not, why not? The cops know who they are.

Another week with no progress on this case, at least not that the public is aware of. Jailing a local loser does not constitute justice:

NSBPD: You know who he is! When will you reassure the citizens of New Smyrna Beach that you are on the case? This story is getting so old that it is starting to smell! Or maybe that is the stench of rotting donuts.

Looks like Eddie is gonna be the star witness in Hanks VOP hearing next week. He's been ordered to be transported to the hearing.

Truth, I missed this post back in Sept. I realize you can't say the name you heard here, but what CAN you tell us?
