Local and state leaders cut the ribbon on the new headquarters of the Coastal Regional Commission, formerly in Brunswick, now in Darien, in the repurposed former youth detention center.

The city of Pembroke will dedicate Sgt. Robert W. Crapse Drive at 9 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Public Safety Way and Judge John R. Harvey Drive.

The Burning of Darien Civil War Commemorative Re-enactment Festival is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 15 at the Waterfront Park in downtown Darien.
