Authorities arrested a 19-year-old Sunday who they said stole a boat in Decatur, took friends fishing on it and then set it on fire at Danville to cover up the crime.

Investigators with the Morgan County Sheriff's Department have arrested a Lawrence County man for allegedly stealing a boat from the Brickyard Marina in Decatur and setting it on fire in Danville.

A sport utility vehicle knocked this house at 3319 Danville Road S.W. four inches off its foundation after the SUV ran off the road at 6:15 a.m. Friday, Decatur police said.
