Hey great idea. Let's pay another administrator to raise MCAS scores. Notice we're not talking about creating better citizens. We are talking about raising test scores. NEWS FLASH- Why don't we rehire all the teachers that have been let go in the last several years? Smaller class sizes and more one on one attention might just make a difference. Why don't we hold parents responsible for making sure their kids go to day care, er, I mean school well fed, clothed and prepared to learn.

PS- I see I'm the first and probably only comment. I'm sure no one else will post because this just about education and who really cares about that? Now if this was about a transgender, pedophile I'd be about the hundredth post.

You are exactly right! How about just letting teachers teach and returning to smaller class sizes with more help.

are they going to magically lower class sizes and supply appropriate resources to our schools.....there are a lot of excellent, highly qualified teachers in our schools. its difficult to get hings accomplished when you are closing schools and ealing with class sizes approaching 30!

Daily Horoscope for December 21

Aquarius

Although you're still feeling sociable and outgoing, the Solstice brings the need for a little time to yourself now and then. It's time to temper your busy social life with some precious moments of solitude. Make sure you do, as this need is something important and life-enhancing. It will certainly recharge your inner batteries, which might be a little run down.
