New Song Choir Concert on February 21st at Cypress Church

Cypress Festival Set For July 24th

Each July there is a birthday celebration held in the city of Cypress. Families, friends and neighbors commemorate the date of incorporation of the city of Cypress by enjoying the Cypress Community Festival. Leadership Conference Held At Cypress Church

Pastors and church leaders from southwestern states held a conference at Cypress Church on Saturday, January 30th. The meeting was sponsored by the western division of the Evangelical Free Churches of America (EFCA). Pastor Mike McKay and the staff of Cypress Church hosted the workshop. Steve Highfill, the Director of EFCA West, opened the meeting with an overview of his organization’s history and purpose. Cypress Church is committed to serving all of northern Orange County and the surrounding area. There are Bible studies, worship services and programs for all age groups. Sunday worship is at 8:45 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The current message series is focused on the topic of prayer. Wanda Slade Appointed To Cypress Festival Board

Cypress resident Wanda Slade has been appointed as Vice Chair of the Cypress Community Festival Association. Wanda lives in the Cypress area and has served as the Booth Chairperson for the Festival during the past five years. The Festival welcomes vendors and is known for its unique blend of shopping opportunities. The event is dependent on the support of many individual volunteers and local business sponsors.
