Q: Can you please tell me why onion salt gets hard as a rock after being opened for a time? Is there any way to prevent this? I have tried covering the jar with plastic wrap before putting on the lid, and have even tried adding some dry rice grains, but the salt still gets hard.

Defense witness says baby's death accidental

Forensic pathologist Cyril Wecht testified today that the 2007 death of the infant son of Christopher L. Hoffman was accidental, calling the actions of the young father ''unwise but innocent.'' Hoffman, 26, is charged with aggravated murder, murder, involuntary manslaughter and two counts of child endangering.

New charges for man who burned dogs Police say he crashed stolen truck in Portage

A Munroe Falls man who was sent to prison in 2007 for stealing a van from the parking lot of a Cuyahoga Falls hotel and setting it on fire, killing the two showdogs inside, is now suspected of stealing another vehicle, which was wrecked in Portage County.
