I still stand by my theory that Sears helped kill Vallco. When I was in high school, Vallco was the place to hang out after school. I remember not desiring to go to Vallco after the original food court was taken out. Sears was leasing the space to the mall and wanted it back for their Homelife furniture outlet. The Homelife store has long since been gone, and so are all the mall patrons... The attempt at putting food into the Tilt arcade was too little, too late.....
