Town buys contaminated land abutting old Albion dump

The town expanded its holdings off Old Albion Road this month when it settled with an Attleboro developer and purchased his 12 acres abutting the former town dump for $325,000. For now, the agreement puts a period on a legal dispute that town Solicitor Thomas Hefner describes the most time-consuming single case of his tenure with the town.
