Megan Renee Hearn of Fort Worth, formerly from Victoria, and Jeffery Hamlin Eubank of Fort Worth, were married June 13, 2009, at Arlington Heights United Methodist Church in Fort Worth.

The DeWitt County Tax Office will conduct a closed bid sale July 6-10. The sale includes one property in Yoakum with a house and two properties in Cuero, one with a small structure, according to a news release from Susie Dreyer, DeWitt County Tax Assessor-Collector. Camellia "Camel" Muniz Gillum, 62, of Darrington, Wash., formerly of Wichita Falls, died Monday, June 22, 2009, in Everett, Wash.

In Dewitt County, a Cuero man has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Comfort boys basketball and golf coach Colin Toot has accepted a similiar position at Cuero High School.
