Two teenagers are in DeWitt County Jail charged with felony criminal mischief for the vandalism of the Christmas in the Park holiday display.

The Christmas season in Cuero will kick off on Monday, Nov. 23, at 6:30 p.m. for the 23rd annual Cuero Community Christmas Tree Lighting.

DeWitt County Sheriff's Office is once again sponsoring the Deputy Santa program for the needy children of this county.

Our weekly Crimestoppers report is on hiatus this week as Victoria Police are offering a hand to a neighboring department.

The Jingle Bell 5K, sponsored by the Cuero Wellness Center, will be held on December 5th.

Reaction to Saturday night's vandalism of three major Christmas in the Park displays has been swift and continues to grow.

A group of golfers and community volunteers, coupled with a commitment by the Cuero Golf Association, have taken on the task of some desperately needed repairs and remodeling of the Cuero Golf Pro-Shop. Hundreds of volunteer hours have already been logged into this project.
