Baylor University conferred degrees on over 2,200 graduates during spring commencement exercises May 17-18 in the Ferrell Center on the Baylor campus.

Pat Curry graduated on May 11 with a doctorate in educational leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University, earning a 4.0 grade point average.

Louis Gene Yaeger of Cuero passed away on Friday, May 24 at his home at the age of 76 years.
