Gamez Brothers Face Prelim
The three Gamez brothers and their mother who were arrested in connection with the stabbing death of a New Mexico Tech student are due to face Magistrate Judge Jim Naranjo on Friday.
Naranjo will decide in a 9 a.m. preliminary hearing if there is enough evidence against them to bind them over to District Court to stand trial.
The charges stem from an incident the night of June 5 at Clarke Field that resulted in the death of Garrett Joe, 22, of Crownpoint. Joe enrolled at Tech in January.
