Light turnout approves Crowley tax plan

About 600 Crowley voters on Saturday approved a 15-year sales and use tax that will not only allow officials to expand upon improvements to the city's infrastructure but it will keep the city from having to lay off any city workers who's job may have been threatened had the tax not passed.
