Marshall University Student Remembered

A large crowd began to gather in the Cross Lanes post office parking lot Tuesday night at around 8. It was a crowd of friends and family members meeting together to remember the life of 19 year old Marshall University student Karissa Ramsey, that ended suddenly in a car accident over the weekend in Putnam County.

Police find woman high, behind wheel with toddler unrestrained

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Kanawha County woman was found passed out and under the influence behind the wheel of her vehicle in front of the Charleston Police Station, and authorities said her toddler was in the front seat covered in filth.
