Gallitzin to end EMS service
Citing ever-decreasing reimbursements from insurance and Medicare, borough officials announced Friday that Gallitzin Area Ambulance Services will be shuttering its doors come Monday.

Taser used to subdue man at Tioga County, Pa., courthouse

Two left homeless after Gallitzin fire
A Sunday evening fire that reignited early Monday morning left two homeless, according to fire department officials, with a half-dozen fire crews having worked overnight before finally extinguishing the flames.
