Deputies from the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office on Monday displayed the 25 kilos of pure cocaine that residents found washed up on Crescent Beach and in the North Beaches area.

The State Road 206 Crescent Beach Bridge will not be closed this weekend, as previously scheduled, because unfavorable weather is forecast for this weekend.

The Florida 206 bridge to Crescent Beach will be shut from 7:30 p.m. Friday through 5:30 a.m. on Monday for repair work on its drawbridge's mechanical and electrical systems.

The State Road 206 Crescent Beach Bridge will be closed to traffic from 7:30 p.m. Friday to 5:30 a.m. Monday morning as part of the bridge rehabilitation project.

The Crescent Beach Bridge will close this weekend starting Friday evening for steel and machinery work at the center span of the bridge.
