Vinton County Fire Departments Fight Wave of Weekend Fires
The McArthur Fire Department battled two large brush fires over the weekend. The department responded to the Siverly Creek and Locust Grove area brush fire during the early evening hours of March 27.
Man in custody in connection with Vinton County rape
A 62-year-old Creola man has been arrested and charged with rape in connection with a 2006 incident involving a girl who, at the time, was 10 years old.
