COVERT, Mich. - The Palisades Nuclear Power Plant south of South Haven returned to service early Saturday morning, after being been shut down for 33 days for refueling and maintenance.

Local Nuclear Power Plant Removed From Service

The Palisades Nuclear Power Plant was taken offline Sunday morning. At 10:26 a.m. Sunday, plant operators removed Entergy 's Palisades plant from service, signaling the start of the site's 22nd refueling and maintenance outage.

Police are trying to identify a decomposed body that was found Tuesday in a drainage ditch along a rural road in southwestern Van Buren County , authorities said Thursday.
