What's a drug tip worth these days? When it's Corunna High School students dropping a dime on classmates, it's worth $50. A new pilot program brought to Corunna High School through Crime Stoppers gives $50 to students who accurately inform administrators of drugs or weapons brought onto school grounds.

For the past ten days a handful of protestors have been standing on street corners in Corunna.

The Shiawassee County Sheriff's office says the Town Tub gas station in the city of Corunna was robbed at about 9 p.m. Deputies say a woman walked into the store, approached the clerk and demanded money.
