He probably was using fast track and it ends in the carpool lane. caltrans should have signs up if they are going to sweep the street.

People of religion are taught to lead by example, is LEADING BY EXAMPLE breaking the law by doing drugs or by driving in the carpool lane without a passenger or by speeding? I think not. Just because his dad is a paster doesn't mean he was dumb ass. Your dad is a child molester does that mean you are ?

Well, if you people knew the true Jesus, He came to the sinners and the people who make mistakes. Thats what makes people who do things wrong, "forgiven". He didn't come to the world to help most of the people on this forum whom are already "perfect". He didn't come to the hypocrites. Although He would help them if they would ask. I guess he who is without sin should cast the first stone. Your past is your past.

if it were your husband, brother, father, friend, it would be different. how easy to point fingers at someone you don't have connections with. a family is grieving. how arrogant to write such hurtful things. lack of compassion is a sign of heartless person...of course until it happens to you. then we are all supposed to come to your rescue. this is a sad situation. i attended harvest for a number of years. have a bit of respect for those left who will have to carry on without a loved one.

Janice wrote: This young man made a horrible mistake and died because of it. How very tragic! He should never have been driving in the carpool lane but he must have been in such a hurry to get to work because he was speeding as well. How sad for his family and mostly for his wife carrying his unborn baby girl. Was he in the carpool lane or the fast track lanes? Fast track is open to anyone with a transponder. And by the way...EVERYONE on the 91 travels at a "high rate of speed". Furthermore, what was the CalTrans truck doing stopped in the Fast track (or carpool) lane?

DonDejaynes wrote: <quoted text> It's called scheduled regular maintenance. All of our freeways need to be cleaned routinely. The carpool lane was closed and he ducked in. They were going 15 MPH cleaning. Furthermore, they always have arrowboards and lane closures to warn motorists to slow down ahead. His carelessness cost him his own life. You have no idea what happened. I hope you are as perfect as you think and never go over the limit.
