Wrightsville might limit where sex offenders can live

Here are some fundemental questions that should be ask and answers obtained. For the interest of both the Fire Department and the people of the borough there should be an investigation.

1. What does Mel McDonald know on the inside as a council woman that we may not?
2. Is Mel or the Fire co. involved in any criminal activity and who oversees or audits these people and the books?
3.Is it lawful to mix tax dollars and private funds together?
4.Has the Council and Fire Co. been responsible as far as oversight of these "OUR" tax dollars?
5.Why does the Borough want to control the Fire co. and do they have any right to do so.?
6. Does the Fire co. have anything to hide and can they keep Mel and others out but still take local & State funding?
7.Does the Fire co "Food truck vending Business" collect and pay taxes? why or why not?
8.Does this food truck vending business have employees?
9. If so, how do they get paid?
10. How is new equipment for the food truck vending business purchased? Is this Tax $ from a general fund or is this money from another source?

My strong suggestion would be that there be an independent investigation done to protect all parties by an outside of york county agency.

Here we go again! Our apointed mayor Dawn Lindeman is not dealing with issues at hand like "THE FIRE DEPARTMENT" instead she is running after things that might be! Make NO mistake Dawn Lindeman and Mel McDonald are both cut from the same cloth. They have no brains, if you know them you know this is true they played around with it all and look at what they have become adult trouble makers avoiding the real problems we have. This Town has gone even LOWER under Lindeman,McDonald and Young.

Question? I have been in every public meeting for months, This has never been talked about. So where has it come from?? Perhaps an EXECUTIVE SESSION ?? This is a gross injustice and nothing more the back room politics. I think there needs to be another INVESTIGATION. Good People of wrightsville and savy news media please check this out! read the miniutes! not one word in a public meeting? This is a Sunshine law violation. Its time we ask for alot more resignations than just Mels.

WFD (Wrightsville fire department) was built by Wrightsville vollunteers and all the tax dollars and contributions should be left to the people of Wrightsville. If the Department members wish to leave and follow Fred Smeltzer so be it go in peace and don't let the door hit you in the ass, They as a new group and or department of Eastern Can purchase thier own equipment NOT take all that we have paid for and purchased as WRIGHTSVILLE with tax Dollars and Grants that was given to WRIGHTSVILLE as a comunity. I love Wrightsville Fire Department and hope they will reconsider. As for the other thorn in our ass Mel I have no time for her or her spineless hubby.

What does anything on the blog have to do with this article

I'm with you SUNSHINE...Why is it that everyone is seemingly oblivious to the big issue here: the fact that Wrightsville Borough Council is always "working on this for a long time" when we the people hear about it for the first time? First we watch Sharon on the news in broad daylight, BEFORE the council meeting when the vote occurred, announce that Dawn will be mayor. Then they "decided to drop" the police contracting effort...but don't vote on it in a public meeting until asked to? Oh, yeah - and they're "moving forward" on eliminating the ward system, but we only found out because someone asked about the report Mr T was paid to write in Jan?? By the way - the report just restated what they should have read themselves in the BOROUGH CODE!!! Now we have an ordinance popping up for vote that was never discussed in a public meeting. Don't bother going to the council meetings - that's obviously not where the real business of this town is conducted.

We don't want housing available to a lot of sex offenders.?.?.? WHAT??? How about this instead. We don't want a lot of Wrightsville tax dollars sent directly to the ACLU! Somebody should clue this woman in. Of course that does not sound AT ALL DISCRIMINATORY. Wrightsville should at least adopt zoning before trying to bite off a first of a kind for York County ordinance. Hey Dawn. Since you are so proud to have been on Council for 16 years why did you not protect us with a zoning ordinance before? And NO. You do not get credit for the fact that it is now on the drawing board. Get her out of here!

Will you please stop the call for investigations you keep posting everywhere? They are annoying. You act like there is some huge conspiracy going on everywhere in Wrightsville. The only problem is Crazy Mel McDonald. She is the one responsible for getting sued. Shouldn't you add that to your list? And if Mel knew anything she would immediately blab it around town to everybody, so I doubt she has any hidden knowledge.

Whose name keeps popping up every time there is trouble in Wrightsville (other than Larry's battle with the nacho machine)? It's Mel MacDonald. There are people who think she is a crusader for justice. In fact, she is a loud-mouthed, obnoxious woman who does not even think rationally. She has made Wrightsville into a 3-ring circus and has fought with nearly every person she has come into contact with. That is why she is being sued and has dragged the boro into into her problems. I will bet people who fell for the wolf in sheep's clothing campaign she ran and voted for her regret it now. I hope you all think a little harder about who you are electing next time around.
