Concord teen dies after scooter wreck

A Concord teenager died Tuesday afternoon, two days after the motorized scooter he was riding collided with a truck in Concord.

the police need to regulate these scooters.the law says that if if will run over 30 miles per hour on a flat surface it must be tagged and rider must have an license to ride it. most all 50 cc scooters will run from 42 to 47 miles per hour. the police ignore this law so drunk drivers will be able to get around.

i know os a lady in mt pleasant that has an permanently revolked license that rides one. hers will run 44 miles per hour. she knows it is illegal but says will ride until she is stoped, its her only mode of travel.
