The mother of a young girl whose skeletal remains were found 15 years ago in a wooded area in Manorville admitted to abusing and killing her daughter during a court conference Monday in Suffolk County Court.

A state appeals court last year overturned the guilty verdict of Khairual Abdul in November, 2007.

Abdul, 47, will be sentenced on June 22, to four and a third to thirteen years in state prison

Parmjit Singh, 51, the victim’s father who lived with Abdul, buried the body in Manorville. He pleaded guilty in 2008 to hindering prosecution and manslaughter and is serving a seven year prison sentence in the Washington Correctional Facility in Comstock, New York.
