The funeral service for Robert Bernard Thompson Jr., 52, of Bainbridge, was held at 3 p.m. on Monday, April 14, 2012, at Second Saint James Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Eugene Roberts officiating.

On Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency and its partners will hold their fourth National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day at sites nationwide.The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

Mr. Ricky Carter Williams, Sr., 52, of Donalsonville, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Ala.

Colquitt, Ga., will be hosting its 29th National Mayhaw Festival the third weekend in April at Spring Creek Park.
