Does the state really need 279 parks?
Does the state and federal government really need to own nearly 2/3 of the land in California? I think not. Sell some of that land back to private hands. That would bring in badly needed cash up front. And it would bring land back into the property tax base for counties. Last it would put the land to a productive use in private industry contributing to the tax base of the state. |
