McDonald's Owner of 50 Years Passes Away

Jim Taylor, age 75 of Mableton, passed away Jan. 28. "Big Jim" was a resident of Cobb County since 1971, was owner-operator of McDonald's for over 50 years and was active in Cobb County Parks and Recreation.

Burglary suspect flees as grandfather plans to turn him in

Madison County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a young man who fled a week ago from his grandfather's car after hearing his grandfather call 911 to report a crime his grandson had just committed, according to a Madison County Sheriff's Office report.
