Sheriff's officials arrested a Cobb man Friday in connection with the death of his girlfriend, according to a department spokesman.

The quake began at 2:23 a.m. There were no reports of injuries or damages to power plants or buildings, a dispatcher from Redwood Empire Dispatch Communications Authority said.

The incident, believed to be domestic violence, occurred just before 7 p.m. on Hogan Hill Rd.
