Republican state Rep. Elise Hall of Oklahoma City says that Oklahoma's public sector could grow too fast without more spending limits.

Coalgate will likely need the water while the dam at Coalgate City Lake is repaired, City Manager Roger Cosper said.

Officials said Tuesday the Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust approved a 5-year raw water service agreement with Coalgate, a town of about 2,000 located south of McAlester.
