A woman was killed Monday morning after her mini-van collided with an ambulance in Carbon County.

A 62-year-old woman from Coaldale was killed in a "violent" collision with an ambulance on Route 443 in the Normal Square section of Mahoning Township around 8 a.m. today, according to Mahoning Township police.
