Storm leaves Interstate 25 southbound closed; I-40 open completely
The aftermath of the latest winter storm to come through New Mexico is still being felt in some parts of the state.

ALBUQUERQUE - New Mexico has been slammed by a winter storm bringing around a foot of snow in some parts, closing schools Interstate 25 and Interstate 40 from Albuquerque to Gallup and near Clines Corners.

A winter storm warning was canceled in most of New Mexico Saturday as a storm moved out of the state, but a second cold front is right on its tail and a third and stronger system was expected Sunday night.
