It's sad; Lake County Really needed a place like Konocti Resort. Hopefully someone will see the business potential .

To bad he spoiled his legacy by abusing us with his Lost Boys marketing blitz last year. Great band, friendly kids but an aweful way to treat loyal customers

Alot of revenue has been lost by this. Main attraction into Lake County. First the Lake problem and now this! Not to mention the jobs that have been lost and nothing to replace them. I foresee the county at poverty level once again!

Well unfortunately all things must come to an end. More money and business now for the Indian casinos, they need it as there is another one being built in Upper Lake.

Fumar swardo Mota

I agree with you Lupe. Konocti Harbor was a dirty place with mold and smelled really bad. The house keepers didn't do a very good job of cleaning it.

No wonder Rob Brown (BOS) was so interested in trying to keep it opened. He is probably using the lower levels to grow his pot farm now!

As a teenager I worked at Konocti as did hundreds of other highschool kids. We enjoyed each paycheck that helped fund our fun summers on the lake. Managers can never happily satisfy all employees. However while I worked there at least 80% of my co-workers liked their job. They knew they had it good. Where else can you work right along side of talented musicians as a Houseman, or listen to live concerts as you wait tables? I remember Greg as a respectful and professional, well organized business manager. I liked how he did not get involved in local politics. He would say hello to his staff as you walked by him in the lobby. Everyone was treated like family. I am thankful for these wonderful Konocti memories and they shall remain even while the resort gates are closed.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Aquarius

Diplomacy is your middle name today, so make the most of it while it lasts. It will be just what you need if you've been waiting for the right time to raise a tricky topic with you-know-who, and it will also come in handy if you're caught up in a potentially sensitive conversation with someone and you want to extricate yourself as smoothly as possible.
