uh dude, how about a few facts along with the rant? Like what was she charged with, what really happened during the incident in question, and what is her current status? Just for those of us without telepathy!

She should contact Dinius and use the same lawyer he is to sue the DA. They can help each other on the cases.

This is typical of the DA. Report it to the grand jury. Go tale at the supervisor meetings. And most of all come to the election activities and tell!

last I heard Mitchell had some fairly serious health problems he was getting treated, but we should see those answers next week-I think. Maybe when this guy gets un-"unset" he'll fill us in on what really happened here.

the bad Lake vibe. Phil you got hosed, just like all of us. What did you expect. 7.5 percent of our population is in State Prison. Higher than the rest of the State San Francisco is 1.7 percent.

Gotta have them guns doing something. It is just like more surgeons in an area more surgery, more cops more arrests. That is how it goes. No ethics, no restraint.

Mr: Murphy: Thanks. I can assure you the oath of office means nothing or the good well or of the people. The misuse of Its "a personnel matter" is the corruption of local government. Without higher authority as Mr.Brown, dishonesty rules the day.

Not surprised. I've got a friend in lake county who is followed by a cop when ever she goes to the local coffee shop with her 80 yr old dad. He likes to show up when ever he see's her car parked in public. And accidently ends up behind her on her drives home.

All this because she happened apon a semi-nude photo of his wife on the internet with a website link next to the photo that took you to photo's of local minors from a youth organization for sale without the knowledge or consent of parents. The youth organization covers for this individual and trashes the names of anyone who has complained about this womans behavior. Of course, that has nothing to with her spouce being a local cop! Nah!

I was told that this cop's boss told her that she has no case for harrasment and no judge would ever listen to such flimsy accusations, and he can be where ever he wants to be. My question is, if a cop is aware that a woman thinks she is being harrassed and stalked, by that woman, her husband and his commander/boss, even if the cop tells everyone that she's crazy, why does he continue to show up when ever he see's her and her children out in public when her husband isn't around? One answer, missuse of power and cowardness!

Good luck with your issue! But I wouldn't hold my breath! My advice is document everything! Dates, times, witness', etc.. My friend made copies and logs of everything she found on the internet. She also discovered that the local cop was talking about his job on the internet. Try a google search of the officers involved, maybe you'll get lucky too. Also contact the media, not just locally but big time news, like, CNN, Fox News, etc.. That might get the attention the local law enforcement doesn't want!

GOOD LUCK!

Public Apology, now thats a good one. Admit they are wrong another good one. I saw with my own eyes and heard with my own ears just what lengths some of these LE will go. I guess the word Perjury holds no barring with them as I saw at the Dinius trial. Their lies were out in the open, proven to be lies and yet nothing happened to them for lying. Remember folks, they are above the law! Furthermore, their day of reckoning is coming and right around the corner. Hmm, think the heat is getting to Mitchell? Out with health problems. Gezz I wonder why? Will we hear next, he is on paid leave? He is sick to his stomach trying to come up with answers to all those questions he was given. Like Phil stated there were some tough ones. He can't remember what he told to whom and when. He knows he is busted! Apology, I will apologize to Tami and family. Why, because I have sat back for way to long and didnt take a interest or get involved in this crap called politics!

No baby crying in this house. I've never been followed, tailgated etc. My issues stem from LE not addressing legitimate concerns. When they are provided with evidence of crimes being committed, they choose to ignore. As one local LE officer told me recently, "I see there is a problem here but it will take too much time to investigate and it's not my job to investigate".

The Clearlake Police Dept has some of the best officers in the state. My husband for one. There are always a couple of bad apples in the bunch but that is true for any police dept. The majority of the CL officers are honest, dedicated, well trained and put they're life on the line every day for anyone at anytime, including you. I know because mine does it everyday and has for the last 30 years. Cronnies? I hardly think so.

I think clearly, don't use drugs, never been arrested and I don't break the law. Not everyone fits into your simple scenario. Keep an open mind and attempt to understand what people are saying. We want change and LE to be held accountable. Why do you find fault in this?

MYOB, I like you have been in this county for 20+ years. Its a beautiful place. I like you have never had problems with LE of any kind. That is until I decided to get involved within my community in a positive way! Thats when it all hit me. I was focused on my family, my life and that of my friends and family. Wasn't involved in politics and could really careless, hated it. Then I opened my eyes. It was difficult to digest, and hard to believe. It was the Dinius case that brought it all to light. All it took was asking questions and listening to what was being said. Following up on my own accord and attending a trial I had nothing to do with. Amazing, simply amazing what took place. Witnessing our LE up on the stand, answering questions under oath and watching them get ripped apart by the defense proving they were lying. And you want me to trust them? Not all are bad, like anything else. But, one bad apple ruins it all for the majority! All I can say is get involved, have a opened mind, ask questions, and follow up on the answers. Then, come back and tell me you feel the same way!

My respect and appreciation to every officer of the law who is honest, has integrity, devotes his/her life to protecting the citizens of their district. My brother was one such person until his recent death. I agree with you except for the fact that Lake County LE has more than just a few bad apples.

I don"t find fault in change, I find fault with people wanting apologys for doing their jobs and the criminals getting upset that things didnt go their way.

My point is, I find fault when LE doesn't do their job. You may be right about the criminals getting upset when things didn't go their way but what about the law abiding citizens? We must speak up if we want change. All I'm asking for is justice for all even when it means work and investigation by local authorities.

I wonder who are the bad apples and if the majority of the officers are honest and so on which ones aren't?

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Aquarius

The more you want to control someone, or someone wants to control you, the more difficult life will be today. It's a Full Moon and a lunar eclipse, so the last thing you should do now is to act as though you own this person, or tell them what to do, because it will be an instant recipe for rebellion and trouble. Mars is retro in your house of significant others and open enemies after all. If you don't want to spoil the evening's celebrations you'll have to make compromises, and hope that this other person will do the same. Don't let the fuss stop you having a very happy New Year's Eve.
