An 18-year-old Clayton man is in jail pending a formal charge of rape for allegedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
She was born November 19, 1916, in Newtonsville, Ohio, and moved to a farm near Clayton, Ohio, where she lived for many years before moving to Englewood, Ohio.

CLAYTON Beginning next year, the city of Clayton will have resident income taxes collected by Vandalia, a move that could save the city about $4,000. Clayton will end its contract with Cleveland-based Regional Income Tax Agency, which had been collecting the city's income taxes since 2004.
