A big redevelopment project is getting underway in the Thousand Islands village of Clayton.

A relatively new anti-wind organization is accusing the Town Council of canceling two scheduled meetings because the group started hiring Steve Weed Productions, Watertown, to videotape these open sessions.

Watertown police charged Brandon T. Thompson, 25, of 11385 Circle Drive, Chaumont, with first-degree robbery, petit larceny, second-degree menacing and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon at 11:42 p.m. Monday on the 100 block of Newell Street in Watertown.
