Police here are continuing their search today for a young adult white male who robbed money from an employee of a local business making a night deposit at First National Bank at Market and Chestnut streets Tuesday night.

State Route 18 northbound by Tara in the Clark, Pa., area was shut down for more than an hour this morning after a car hit a pole, shearing it and bringing down several wires.

Mr. Phillips retired from Valley Mould and Iron Co. He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Survivors include his companion, Dianne Cottrill; children, Leslie Collins of Youngstown and Brittany Cottrill of Cortland; three grandchildren; three brothers, Timothy of Clark, Pa., Arthur Jr.

The American Cancer Society presented Zack Smith with the Milton Braverman Award for his participation in the annual bike-a-thon in Philadelphia in July.
