Time to file for council positions
It is already time to begin thinking about city council elections in Ellinwood and Hoisington on April 3. Claflin does not have any open council positions for the upcoming elections, according to the city.
Crash in Barton County kills Claflin woman
A Claflin woman dies in an early morning accident in Barton County. The crash happened on Highway 156 around 3:30 Wednesday morning.
