It is once again time for the annual Oz-Stravaganza festival. Chittenango has hosted the Wizard of Oz-themed festival each year, as this is the birthplace of L. Frank Baum, the author of the Wizard of Oz series of books.

It has become one of the most popular Wizard of Oz related events in the country.

A woman was injured this afternoon when her car crash crashed into a legally parked pickup truck in the village of Chittenango.
